About Weekend Market Prices
Weekend Market Prices is a research and tools site, maintained by the Weekend Market Prices team.
What the site covers
Indicative weekend and overnight prices for gold, silver, WTI and Brent crude oil, the Nasdaq-100 and S&P 500 trackers, and EUR/USD, USD/JPY and GBP/USD, shown next to the perpetual price at the last official-session close in US Eastern time, plus a history of past weekend gaps and short explainers on weekend market hours. The prices are not official index levels, exchange settlements or WM/Reuters fixes.
How data is collected
A Cloudflare Worker reads the public Hyperliquid info API (xyz markets) every five minutes and on demand, stores the snapshot, and appends a weekend record to the history after each reopen. Every data row names its venue, contract and price field, and shows the time it was checked; rows older than 15 minutes are marked stale. Full definitions, field documentation and limitations are on the methodology page, and the same data is available as JSON and CSV.
Venue disclosure
We have commercial relationships with the venues listed on this site and may earn when you use their links. Rankings and calculations follow the same published rules for every venue.
Contact and corrections
Corrections and questions: support@weekendmarkets.site.
If a number looks wrong, include the page URL and the “checked” time shown on the row so we can match it to the snapshot. Material corrections are listed in the changelog below.
Privacy
Weekend Market Prices has no accounts, forms, comments or sign-ups and does not ask for personal data. Our own pages set no cookies and use no localStorage; the only script we ship polls /api/snapshot.json on this site to refresh prices. This site currently loads: Google Analytics 4 (a third-party script that sets cookies and sends page-view data to Google); Cloudflare Web Analytics (a cookieless page-view beacon). Analytics are only added when configured for the deployment, so this paragraph changes if that changes.
The site runs on Cloudflare Workers, so Cloudflare processes ordinary request data (such as IP address and user agent) to serve pages. Quotes are fetched server-side from the public Hyperliquid API, so your browser never contacts Hyperliquid for this site. Outbound venue links are ordinary links: once you click one, that venue's privacy policy applies.
Changelog
- — Added an About page with contact, privacy and this changelog; per-row source, contract and checked time with automatic stale marks; liquidity hints (24h volume, open interest, spread); a versioned JSON dataset; NYSE/Nasdaq holiday handling; and a back-test of the last pre-reopen quote against the reopen print.
- — Each page now opens with a direct answer, shows quote time and data source, and carries FAQs and weekend gap statistics. Fixed the FX last-close reference and the next-reopen display.
- — Unknown URLs now return a proper 404 status.
- — The site address is now configurable; old workers.dev and www addresses redirect to the canonical address. Optional analytics beacon support and search-engine submission tooling added.
- — Copy cleanup: removed a visible keyword label.
- — Snapshots are cached and the last good quote is served if the data source is briefly unavailable; Brent history added.
- — Initial release: weekend and overnight indicative prices, gap versus the last official close, and weekend history.
